Kaweco Foldable Mini Converter

The foldable converter is an alternative to an ink cartridge. Like a syringe, ink is drawn directly from the ink bottle. This makes ink cartridges obsolete and reduces plastic waste.

Thanks to the clever folding mechanism on the piston rod, the converter can be reduced in size by almost 20% while maintaining the same ink volume, making it fit into the smallest pocket fountain pens.

To use, insert the converter into the pen, submerging the nib, and pulling a foldable plunger to suck ink into the reservoir. The foldable design lets the plunger be locked down, fitting securely inside small barrels.
